The Adventure Theater is a unique group which is comprised of boys and girls from fourth grade through senior high school. The group rehearses weekly from August through early May, and performs three original plays annually, two stage and one radio play. Their objective is to teach Orthodox Christian values and their application in every-day life. The group also sets aside time for its Good Samaritans Project and fellowship, which includes outings, a retreat, a lock-in, and pizza parties. If you have any questions about this program please contact the Church office, or e-mail Adventure Theatre.

"AN EXCITING
AND UNIQUE LOCK-IN PLANNED FOR THE ADVENTURE THEATER
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19, and continuing to 10 a.m.
Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Holy Apostles Church, the Adventure Theater will
hold its fourth annual lock-in with the theme "Leadership," and everyone
attending the lock-in will be required to give a talk based on the theme.
Each speaker will be put in a possible real-life situation in which he or
she must lead and inspire others--captain of a cruise ship run aground on
an out-of-the-way island, the coach of an underdog team involved in
championship play, the inaugural speech of a President, etc. What part
will the leader's Orthodox Christian faith play in the speech he or she
must make?
Besides the talks, the Lock-in will also include playtime at
Mayfair Park, a story from Mr. D., fun, games, snacks, a late-evening
prayer service, very little sleep, plus a few surprises, too."
