Sunday School

Sunday School (PreSchool-12th Grade)
The Holy Apostles' Sunday School Program is open to those in PreSchool through 12th Grade. Our program has recently undergone a robust curriculum overhaul that aims to offer students a fun, interactive learning experience that spiritually edifies and nourishes students as they learn about their Orthodox faith. By offering students a hand's on, Christ-centered education, they are more quickly able to understand their personal relationship with the Holy Trinity. Sunday School takes place after Holy Communion and allows students the opportunity to transition from actively participating in their faith to learning about that faith through fun and spiritually edifying instruction, crafts, and games. Each grade level focuses on one of the four main curriculum topics—Old Testament Stories, The Gospels, The Epistles, Church History & The Saints, and Feasts & Sacraments. In addition, the 11th and 12th graders will have an opportunity to participate in an active “Internship” component during alternating weeks in which they will take what they have learned in the classroom and have an opportunity to put it into practice serving in Altar, Choir, as Ushers, or Teaching Assistants.

Sunday School is led by Toni Milak.  If you would like to join, teach, sub or have any questions, please email her at SundaySchoolDirector@holyapostleschurch.com
